808Wraps – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction & Service Commitment

At 808Wraps, we take pride in delivering high-quality fleet wraps that reflect your brand and protect your investment. These Terms & Conditions ensure transparency and set mutual expectations for a successful outcome.

All wrap installation and related services are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By paying your invoice, you agree to be bound by them.

Payment for materials, production, and services must be made in advance before work begins.

Accepted payment methods include money order, cash, check, ACH, and credit card (convenience fees may apply).

Clients are responsible for all collection costs, including attorney and administrative fees. A 3% monthly fee applies to delinquent accounts.

Additional work not listed in the original invoice will be billed at standard rates.

2. Vehicle Preparation & Client Responsibilities

Vehicles must arrive clean and free of:

•. Dirt, grime, grease, road tar

•. Waxes, polishes, or ceramic coatings

•. Previous adhesive or vinyl (unless removal is included in your agreement)

Additional cleaning may result in added charges and project delays.

Any needed bodywork must be completed prior to drop-off.

No guarantees or warranties are offered for paint quality or condition.

Pre-existing scratches, dents, or damage are the Client’s responsibility and will be documented.

Tier 1 – Basic Wrap Prep Cleaning ($300)

•. More thorough than a standard alcohol wipe-down

Tier 2 – Advanced Wrap Prep Cleaning ($500)

•. Clay bar treatment for removal of embedded contaminants

•. Thorough surface preparation for optimal vinyl adhesion

3. Installation Expectations

Wraps are not applied to door handles, mirrors, door jambs, rubber molding, chrome, porous surfaces, windshields, or plastic trim unless otherwise stated.

Wraps are designed to be viewed from a 10–15 foot distance. Seams, overlaps, and panel variations may occur.

808Wraps is not responsible for paint damage during install, the life of the wrap, or removal.

4. Color, Material & Design Disclaimer

Color Variances: Colors viewed on digital screens, proofs, or mockups may vary from final printed vinyl due to printer profiles, material textures, finishes (matte, gloss, satin), and lighting conditions. 808Wraps does not guarantee exact color matching to Pantone, RGB, CMYK, or previously printed projects. Reprints or remakes requested due to perceived color variations are the Client’s responsibility and will be billed at standard rates.

Fleet & Multi-Vehicle Projects: Slight variations in color may occur between production runs or across multiple vehicles due to material batch differences and printing variables. These variances are considered industry standard and are not grounds for free reprints.

Material Limitations: Vinyl wrap films are designed for application to OEM-painted surfaces in good condition. 808Wraps is not responsible for adhesion issues, bubbling, or lifting on rust, oxidation, body filler, aftermarket paint, textured plastics, stainless steel, or other substrates not recommended by the vinyl manufacturer.

Manufacturer Warranty vs. Installer Warranty: 808Wraps’ installation warranty is limited to 90 days. After this period, all warranty matters are the Client’s responsibility and must be handled directly with the vinyl manufacturer under their warranty terms.

Panel Alignment & Seams: Wraps are installed to industry standards. Perfect alignment of patterns, text, or images across body lines, seams, or complex curves cannot be guaranteed. Overlaps and panel shifts are normal and expected.

Component Removal & Reinstallation: Wrap installation may require removal of mirrors, trim, lights, emblems, door handles, or other vehicle components. 808Wraps is not responsible for mechanical, electrical, or sensor-related issues that may arise during or after removal/reinstallation of these components.

Film Aging & Shrinkage: Vinyl is subject to normal wear over time, including but not limited to shrinkage, fading, cracking, adhesive residue upon removal, and edge lifting due to environmental exposure. Longevity is dependent on maintenance, climate, and storage conditions. These are natural characteristics of vinyl and are not covered under warranty.

Client-Supplied Artwork: Clients are responsible for securing usage rights for any logos, designs, or images provided to 808Wraps. 808Wraps is not liable for copyright, trademark, or intellectual property disputes. Additionally, client-supplied files must meet resolution requirements; 808Wraps is not responsible for pixelation, blurriness, or quality loss in supplied artwork.

5. Post-Installation Care

Do not wash vehicle for at least 5 days after installation.

Hand washing is recommended. Avoid high-pressure washers.

Avoid rolling down windows or using rear wipers if vinyl is applied.

Wash the vehicle after storms to remove pollutants.

Protect the vehicle from sun and weather when possible.

6. Warranty Policy

We provide a 90-day limited installation warranty for edge lifting or peeling caused by install errors.

We will repair the affected area at our discretion using edge trimming, additional adhesive, or lamination tape.

This warranty does not include panel replacement, reprinting, or full re-wraps.

Most lifting is due to waxed surfaces or poor paint adhesion—these are not covered.

After 90 days, all warranty matters are the sole responsibility of the Client and must be handled directly with the vinyl manufacturer under their product warranty terms. 808Wraps does not provide support, coverage, or labor related to manufacturer warranty claims once the installation warranty has expired.

7. Artwork & Design Approval

Clients must approve all artwork in writing before production.

808Wraps is not responsible for any errors in approved artwork.

All designs and proofs are the intellectual property of 808Wraps.

Additional proofs after the first round are $100 per revision.

8. Cancellations, Scheduling & Pickup

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 3 business days in advance.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows incur a $700/day charge.

Vehicles must be picked up on the scheduled completion date to avoid storage fees.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping charges apply unless otherwise stated.

Clients must inspect all materials upon receipt.

Vehicles must be dropped off within two hours of scheduled time.

International clients are responsible for duties, taxes, and shipping limitations.

10. Vehicle Retention Policy

If payment is not received within five (5) business days after project completion, 808Wraps reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle. Storage charges of $75/day will apply. This serves as a lien for the balance due.

11. Financial Terms & Inspection Fees

All estimates and vehicle inspections are valid for 30 days.

A non-refundable $150 inspection fee is required (credited toward the project).

All deposits are non-refundable.

Clients are responsible for all finance and collection charges.

12. Specialty Surface Disclaimer (e.g., Tesla Cybertruck)

Vinyl wraps are not designed or warranted for use on stainless steel or unpainted surfaces.

Peeling, residue, and surface damage are likely.

Client assumes all risk when wrapping such surfaces.

Optional inspections and wrap removal services are available at additional cost.

13. Dispute Resolution

All disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.  Mediation in Honolulu County is required before arbitration. If mediation fails, binding arbitration will proceed under the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

14. Acknowledgment of Terms

By paying an invoice or approving services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
